evenwell is built so that only you can read your health information. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and your choices.
Everything you log — doses, injection sites, symptoms, periods, weight, HRT, notes and Doctor Reports — is stored on your phone in encrypted storage.
Doctor Reports are created on your phone. They leave it only when you choose to share them.
Setting up the app asks two things about you rather than your treatment. Your first name is optional, and is only a greeting and a line on the Doctor Report. The year you were born is required, because evenwell is for adults 18 and over — we ask for the year and never the date, because the year is all we need to know that.
An account is optional. Without one, nothing you log ever leaves the phone.
With one, each record is encrypted on your device before it is sent, under a key derived from your password and held only on your devices. The copy on our server is one we cannot read, and could not hand over if we were asked to.
That also means a lost password and a lost recovery code together are unrecoverable. There is no reset we could perform.

The text of questions you type into Ask evenwell, which is sent to our AI provider to generate an answer. Your logs are only included if you turn on “Use my logs”.
evenwell.app can use Google Analytics to count visits and see which articles people read. It sets a cookie in your browser and records the pages you open, your approximate location from your IP address, and the kind of device and browser you use.
We ask before any of that starts. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow it, and until you say yes nothing is loaded and nothing is sent — not a cookie, not a page view, not your IP address. Saying no is one click, in the same row and the same size as saying yes. Your answer is kept in your own browser and never sent to us.
Whatever you choose, none of it reaches Google’s advertising products: ad storage, ad personalization and Google Signals are switched off, and we do not run advertising or social-network pixels on this site.
This is the website only. It is separate from the app, and nothing you log in the app is involved.
You can change your answer at any time, using the button below, or write to privacy@evenwell.app.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t show ads. We don’t share health information with advertisers, data brokers or social networks, and we don’t place advertising pixels on pages that handle health information.
Food logging is an estimate. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and later, iOS 26+), meals you type or say are read on your device. On other iPhones, only the text you type is sent to our AI provider to read it, and it isn’t stored. Nutrition values come from a food database on your device.
evenwell does not read or write Apple Health yet. When it does, it will ask first, and only for the types you approve. You will be able to revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
Export everything as CSV or JSON, or delete all data, from Me → Privacy & data. Deleting all data removes your account and its encrypted backup as well.

Some U.S. state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act, require a separate notice about consumer health data. This is that notice.
In the app: medication and dose information, injection sites, symptoms and side effects, menstrual cycle and pregnancy information, contraception and hormone therapy, weight, and notes.
This data is collected on your device and stored there. If you turn on backup, it is also stored on our server, encrypted on your device first under a key we do not hold.
On the website: which articles you read, if you allow analytics. We count it here because the law counts inferences, and this is a fair one — an article about being sick after the pill, or about perimenopause, says something about you even though you never typed anything.
In the app, only to provide its features to you: tracking, alerts, insights and the Doctor Report.
On the website, only to count how many people read which articles, so we know what to write next.
We don’t use consumer health data for advertising, in either place.
We never sell consumer health data. Selling it would require your separate written authorization, and we do not ask for one.
We don’t share what you log in the app, with one exception you control: if you turn on “Use my logs” in Ask evenwell, a short summary (medication, dose, birth control, HRT, cycle lengths) is sent with your question to our AI provider to create the answer.
On the website there is one third party, and only if you allow it: Google, which receives the pages you open on evenwell.app when analytics is on. It receives nothing you log in the app.
Analytics on evenwell.app is off until you allow it. The first time you visit, a banner asks. Until you say yes, no analytics is loaded and nothing about the pages you open is recorded or sent — not a cookie, not a page view, not your IP address.
Saying no is one click, in the same row and the same size as saying yes. Your answer is kept in your own browser and never sent to us.

You can access, export and delete your data in the app at any time. You can also withdraw consent for any optional feature, including website analytics.

These terms cover your use of the evenwell app and website.
A tracking and education tool for adults 18 and over. It is not a medical device, doesn’t diagnose or treat, and isn’t for emergencies.
Setting up the app asks for the year you were born so we can tell. Treatment under 18 is managed differently and belongs with a prescriber, not here.
Premium is billed through your Apple ID. Your 7-day free trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Subscriptions are managed in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
You own your data. Deleting the app deletes what is on the phone. If you made an account, the encrypted backup is deleted separately — use Me → Privacy & data → Delete all data, which removes the account and its backup as well.
Either way, export a copy first if you want one.
Don’t misuse the service, reverse-engineer it, or use Ask evenwell to generate content unrelated to your health tracking.
We’ll tell you in the app before material changes take effect.
evenwell is for tracking and education. It doesn’t diagnose or replace medical advice.
Alerts and articles explain what drug labels and professional guidelines say. They never tell you to start, stop or change a medicine. Always talk to your prescriber before making changes.
Ask evenwell generates answers with AI. They can be incomplete or wrong and are for education only.
evenwell isn’t monitored. If you think you’re having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. For thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988.
evenwell is a consumer app, not a healthcare provider, health plan or clearinghouse, so HIPAA doesn’t apply to the data you log. We protect it anyway, and consumer health-data laws still apply to us.
